Radnické schody (Town Hall Steps) leading up to Hradcany Square, connecting the Malá Strana (Lesser Town) neighborhood to the Prague Castle district.
St. John of Nepomuk, also called John Nepomucene, was a Bohemian clergyman. Due to his loyalty to Archbishop Jan of Jenštejn in a dispute with the Bohemian crown, he was executed by King Wenceslaus IV of Bohemia by being thrown into the Vltava river.
Pieta (or Lamentation of Christ) located on the Charles Bridge. It depicts the Virgin Mary, Mary Magdalene, and Saint John the Evangelist mourning over the body of Jesus.
Hotel Residence Bijou de Prague, located on Nerudova Street in Malá Strana district. The historical building dates back to the 16th century and its rooms are uniquely designed with Baroque-style furniture and original hand-painted ceilings.
Golden Wheel Hotel (U Zlatého kola) on Nerudova Street
Charles Bridge crosses the Vltava river and was the connection between Prague Castle and the city's Old Town. Its construction started in 1357 under the auspices of King Charles IV and finished in the beginning of the 15th century. The bridge is decorated with 30 statues and statuaries, most of them baroque-style, originally erected around 1700 but now all replaced by replicas.
