Vilshofen an der Donau is the largest town in the southeast of Bavaria, Germany in the district of Passau. Until 1972, the town was the district seat of the district of Vilshofen.

Rathaus-Glockenspiel, a mechanical clock tower, built in 1908. It features 43 bells and 32 life-size figures that re-enact historical scenes from the 16th century daily. The top level depicts a jousting tournament from a 1568 royal wedding.
