The Hungarian Parliament Building, also known as the Parliament of Budapest, is the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary. It is situated in Kossuth Square, in the Pest side of the city and on the banks of the Danube. It is the largest building in Hungary and opened in 1902.

Soviet War Memorial (Red Army Monument) in Liberty Square (Szabadság tér), near the Hungarian Parliament Building. The monument was erected in 1945 to commemorate the Soviet Red Army soldiers who died during the capture of Budapest in World War II.

István Tisza Monument in Kossuth Lajos Square. It commemorates the Hungarian politician and twice Prime Minister, Count István Tisza, who was assassinated in 1918.

Statue of Ferenc II Rákóczi in Kossuth Lajos Square. The statue in the honors Rákóczi, a Hungarian nobleman and leader of the 18th-century uprising against the Habsburgs.
