Regensburg is a city in south-east Germany, at the confluence of the Danube, Naab and Regen rivers.

 

 

 

Brückturm (Bridge Tower), a historical gate tower that was part of the city's medieval fortifications. The tower is located at the entrance to the Old Stone Bridge crossing the Danube River.

 

 

 

Goldener Turm (Golden Tower), a 165-foot-high, nine-story residential tower dating back to around 1260. It is a Geschlechterturm (patrician tower) built by wealthy families as a status symbol during the Middle Ages.

Town square (Kohlenmarkt) and the Old City Hall (Altes Rathaus).
