This is the last day of vacation. Michael and Bev left the boat early and took taxi to the Old Town Pile gate. J & J had decided not to go on the city wall walk, so they got up later and went into town.

Pile Gate, the main entrance to the Old Town. The stone bridge leads over a former moat. A statue of St. Blaise, the city's patron saint, sits above the entrance. It represented the entrance to King's Landing in GoT.

Open-air market located on Gunduliceva Poljana Square

 

Rector's Palace.

A man in traditional Croatian costume playing a lijerica, a three-stringed musical instrument typical of the Dalmatia region. The musician is sitting by the Onofrio Fountain, a common location for traditional performances.
