Sailing in Croatia

We were able to get away from the dock at Triton at 9 a.m. and motored into the Lastovsky Kanal.

 

Totally boring motoring for 6 hours. This is the first of 2 long (35+ nm days) in the itinerary. We had scheduled a couple of short legs in case we had to drop a leg because of weather. But the direction of the wind can't be changed, even though it got up to 21 knots for 2-3 hours. If we must be docked at Komiza in 7 hours, then we cannot allow ourselves the luxury of sailing fast in the wrong direction.
