One of the reasons to come to Polace is to visit the Mljet National Park. The entire northwestern end of the island is part of the National Park, though most tourists visit the two lakes near the end of the park. We purchased tickets for the park and waited an hour for the bus to take us to the lakes. We could have walked to the lakes, but after our rigorous wall-walking activity from the previous day, we felt like taking it easy.
