The Höllgasse is a quaint, narrow, cobble-stoned street also called Artist’s Alley. Artists painted the line of varying colors in the center of the street for tourists and customers to follow. The street is full of small shops and stores. Artist and shopkeepers often hang examples of their wares on ropes strung overhead across the street. St. Stephen's Cathedral is a baroque church from 1688, dedicated to Saint Stephen. It is the seat of the Catholic Bishop of Passau and the main church of his diocese. |
