President Ronald Reagan never visited Budapest but Hungarians erected this statue to show their appreciation of his effects in ending the Cold War which put an end to the USSR influence on Hungary. It is located next to the US embassy and faces the monument commemorating the Red Army.
St. Stephen's Basilica is a Roman Catholic basilica. It is named in honor of Stephen, the first King of Hungary (c 975–1038), whose right hand is housed in the reliquary (container for holy relics). It is the third largest church building in Hungary. It's the co-cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest.
