We took a tuk tuk tour of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia.
Originally in Thailand, there was the rikshaw (person pulled), the samlor (bicycle pulled), and finally the tuk tuk (motorized).

 

Vímara Peres was a ninth-century nobleman who served as the first Count of Portugal.

The Monastery of Serra do Pilar overlooking the Dom Luís I bridge. It was built in 1538 for the Order of St. Augustine.
