Stobi winery is located only 80 km from Skopje in the locality of Gradsko in the Tikveš wine region - the biggest and the most important wine region. The winery is in the vicinity of the ancient city of Stobi, where the two rivers Erigon and Axios meet.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tikveš Winery has been crafting and aging premium Macedonian wines since 1885. At the late 70's, agro-combine Tikveš is founded by merging several smaller agricultural cooperatives to form the largest winery in Southeast Europe. At 1973 the wine T’ga za jug, in honour of Struga Poetry Evenings, is crafted. A star is born. Tikveš produces 24 types of wine, including T'ga za jug, Traminec, Kratoshija, Chardonay, Alexandria – Cabernet Sauvignon and Alexandria – Riesling, and rakija.
