The plaque in Plaça de Sant Felip Neri is a monument to the children and other victims of the bombings of the Spanish Civil War, especially those suffered in 1938, which impacted the façade of the church and the adjacent school. Although the facade remained damaged as evidence, the square is now a reconstructed area with a fountain in the center. The bullet holes in the church building are a reminder of the tragedy.
