A Higgins Boat (Landing Craft, Vehicle, Personnel - LCVP), a soldier protecting his rifle, a soldier killed and soldiers making their way across the beach.

Behind the Higgins boat is the Necrology Wall. The plaza is split into five segments representing Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword.

 

 

 

 

Statue of General Dwight D. Eisenhower, surrounded by busts of his key subordinates, including U.S. Gen. Omar Bradley and British Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery, honoring the leadership that planned and executed the invasion.
